MMA currently oversees the management and marketing of 13 senior housing communities throughout Alaska, encompassing more than 350 well-maintained residences and home to over 400 seniors. These communities include independent living, assisted living, and a senior co-op—all thoughtfully designed to support aging in place while fostering a vibrant sense of community.
In addition, MMA has developed and continues to manage several other affordable senior housing properties serving both urban and rural areas. These include Muldoon Manor, Commodore Park Plaza, Jewel Lake Plaza, Russian Jack Manor, George Sullivan Manor, Independence Park Manor I & II, Southside Seniors, and three five-unit communities in Sutton and Palmer—Sutton Manor, Sutton Annex, and Palmer Manor. Across these 11 projects, MMA combines innovative, senior-focused design with HUD-supported programs, always upholding our commitment to affordability, safety, and a high quality of life for Alaska’s seniors.
Chester Park Cooperative is a flagship community managed by MMA. This 142-unit senior co-op, located in East Anchorage, opened in 1994 and expanded in 2000 to accommodate more residents. Set in a scenic wooded area, Chester Park offers breathtaking views and the unique opportunity for resident ownership participation while delivering top-tier senior housing amenities.
Marlow Manor Assisted Living, located at MMA’s Anchorage headquarters, is a 48-unit facility that opened in 1999. It provides essential care and support services in a warm, familiar environment, making it an ideal option for residents needing additional daily assistance while remaining in a community connected to other MMA facilities.
